Great State Fair of OOOklahoma!

Well, Ryan and I went to the fair on a date when we were dating, another date before our wedding, an eating extravaganza when I was pregnant, a family event with my mom and Hayes when he was 8 months old, and now when he is 20 months old!  I love the fair!  Unfortunately it was more like a battle this time because Hayes refuses to ride in his stroller so we ended up carrying him the entire time!  My friend, Sari, told me that he would be fine and love it...which he did but not so much with the stroller.  We ended up meeting Sari and her husband and 2 little boys.  Hayes adores them and wouldn't stop hugging them when we all met up!

Hi Rhett!!

Maybe next year Hayes will be tall enough to ride the rides with his buddies!

Such a big boy walking and holding hands with Daddy!

Since Hayes couldn't ride any of the rides with his buddies we went to check out the building with all the  pigs, goats, cows, and chickens.

Hayes really wanted to touch these cuties!

These were the biggest rabbits that I have ever seen!
(Interesting side note...there was a fact sheet that said that rabbits have around 3,000 babies a year!  Heeee heeee!)

MOOOO!!!

Hayes enjoying the chickens......Daddy enjoying the chickens!

Finally it was time to check out all the food!  We knew that the one thing that Hayes would attempt to eat was the corn on the cob.  We were right!  This was the ONLY time he got in the stroller and he ate the entire ear of corn!

Hopefully next year's visit will be a little less of a workout for Mommy and Daddy!
