Big Shoes To Fill

Lately Hayes has gotten really good at walking around the house in our shoes.  He goes into our closet and whatever shoes are laying around he helps himself to putting them on and then walks around the house.  Sometimes he even can run in them.  Flip flops are especially fun because he actually take the time to put the strap between his big toe and second toe.

I also have been having him put up his laundry (like one shirt people, not his entire stack of clothing!) and other odds and ends laying around the house that need to be cleaned up.  Well, the other day we took off his shoes and I asked him if he would please put them up in his room.  I followed quietly behind him as he took off for his room and I watched with amazement as he put them up exactly where we keep them!  I was so proud!!
