Blue Suitcase

Hayes developed an obsession for a piece of luggage on our vacation...a blue rolling suitcase.  He discovered it in our room the second day that we were in Cabo and from there he wanted to push that thing wherever he went.  He called it his suitcase and wouldn't let anyone else touch it.  In fact on our way home, he insisted on rolling it through the airport including through customs!  The funniest part was on our 4 hour layover in Dallas we all took turns keeping him entertained, which meant pushing the blue suitcase all over DFW airport!  There was a very tall escalator and Ryan was taking Hayes and the blue suitcase up and then back down it.  Randy and I were reading and all of a sudden we hear the loudest crash. The entire terminal looks towards the escalator and I sigh with relief because Ryan and Hayes were nowhere in sight. Randy then says, "That was probably Hayes.".  Ryan and Hayes finish their ride down the escalator and come back to us waiting at the gate.  I begin telling Ryan about the loud crash and how everyone looked, to which his reply was, "Yep, that was Hayes."  Apparently, Hayes had pushed his beloved blue suitcase down the huge escalator and people were dodging it and then it slid making the loud noise.  Hayes then had to tell each of us about the "big bang" and show us!

It is never a dull moment being around Hayes!
