Wow what a wonderful Christmas we had! It all started on Christmas Eve at Ryan's Grandparents' house. Aunt Ginny was in town visiting from New York and her birthday is coming up so we had a surprise birthday party before we celebrated Christmas Eve!
Happy Birthday Ginny!
Hayes LOVED the balloons! He would run around with them and then would put them down and punch them. He provided the entertainment for the evening. Also, this was his entertainment for the evening (Mom of the year here forgot to bring toys for him to play with!).
After the birthday party, my mom, sister (who was also in town from New York) and my Meme came over to celebrate Christmas Eve. We had a great time relaxing and eating! Hayes then turned into Santa and loved helping pass out presents to everyone.
Yep! That is a black olive on his finger!

When Hayes gets older, it is so important for me that he is able to tell people what his family traditions are for the holidays. I love how my family and Ryan's family were able to join together in celebrating. When you loose a member of your family, the holidays always take on a new twist...so this was so nice to create a new memory and maybe a new tradition!
